Trikala Are Being Smartly Transformed – The Integrated Smart City Project
The Municipality of Trikala is implementing the project “Investments in SSC infrastructure and systems for a sustainable and green urban future”, within the framework of the “Greek Smart Cities” strategy. The project includes 10 thematic action areas and 48 individual systems, which are interconnected through a unified smart city platform. Its objective is to improve quality of life, enhance sustainability and upgrade services provided to citizens.

With this design, the Municipality of Trikala establishes Trikala as a model smart, green and human-centred city, creating an integrated ecosystem that enhances the lives of both citizens and visitors.
The project is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”.
